LPR: Svatovo is completely destroyed after a fire in Ukrainian warehouses, people are fleeing the city
The city of Svatovo, where the day before there was a large-scale fire at Ukrainian military warehouses, is completely destroyed, on the eve of cold weather people are fleeing their homes, which are in no hurry to restore the Ukrainian authorities.

“The fire in Svatovo showed the inability of the authorities, as well as the fear of responsibility for what happened at all levels of the management spiral. More than three days have passed since the fire, and the authorities still cannot give a qualified explanation of the causes of the tragedy. The head of the Lugansk regional military-civil administration, Georgy Tuka, brazenly lies on air: “When placing such objects, there are certain standards. Everything, absolutely all the standards were met in this particular case - in terms of the remoteness of residential facilities (the minimum distance is 500 meters, in fact - 1200)... From the point of view of location and safety precautions, everything was not only met, but performed an order of magnitude higher than required, according to all standards." While the ammunition scattered further than three kilometers from the fire. And after that, Georgy Tuka finished off the local residents by reporting the impossibility of promptly using the allocated budget funds to eliminate the consequences of the emergency situation in Svatovo due to bureaucratic difficulties. Thus, actually leaving the residents of Svatovo to the mercy of fate.
At the moment, more than 50% of local residents are afraid to return to Svatovo, looters are rampaging, there is no water supply in the city, no heating supply, and the temperature outside is sub-zero, electricity has only been partially restored, there are a lot of buildings with damaged windows and roofs. Of the five schools, only one partially survived. The educational process has completely stopped throughout the city. In addition, the following were destroyed and severely damaged: a kindergarten, an art school, a pension fund, a city council, a gymnasium, a child development center, a boarding school, two pharmacies, a DOSAAF building,” the LPR statement says.
