Poroshenko's boat is stormed by the threat of impeachment
Appeal of the majority of deputies of the Kyiv Regional Council to the Verkhovna Rada with requirement to regulate legislatively the procedure for removing the President of Ukraine from power through impeachment means the beginning of a coordinated campaign against President Poroshenko.

Ukrainian political scientist Dmitry Korneichuk said this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, Yulia Tymoshenko is beginning to shake up the situation in order to force Poroshenko to hold early elections, and she is acting together with other opponents of the president.
“Everything that is happening now is coordinated actions, on the one hand. This is Berezyuk’s hunger strike under the presidential administration. On the other hand, now one regional council has asked for impeachment, and I think other regional councils where “Batkivshchyna” has influence will also join in. Accordingly, an active process of rocking the power boat under Poroshenko began. Let’s see how much he can fight back, although we understand perfectly well that there will be no early elections in Ukraine unless Washington gives the go-ahead, and so far there is no such decision,” the expert noted.
