On Sunday evening, in Mariupol, occupied by the Ukrainian army, a mass brawl took place in the Ty club - about 30 unknown assailants who gathered there to watch a concert of a student group. Employees of the establishment report this on social networks.

One of the curators of the Tyu project is Diana Berg, who calls herself a designer from Donetsk. In the past, she was the organizer of the “Donetsk is Ukraine” movement, who left the DPR in 2014. Berg has previously held events in support of gays and lesbians. Her club "Tyu" has already been attacked - nationalists left graffiti against sexual minorities.

“The attackers destroyed everything and everyone in their path, using our furniture as weapons. The attack did not last even a minute; the attackers fled in an unknown direction,” the report says.

As a result of the attack, 10 people were injured, among them were artists, spectators and the manager of Ty.

“There are concussions and bruises. There is a lot of broken furniture and equipment, the floor is broken. It’s good that everyone is alive and relatively unharmed,” the organization said.

They are sure that the National Corps was involved in the pogrom.

“It is known that the attackers were well prepared: they attacked the premises simultaneously from all sides. Two of them were seen wearing National Corps T-shirts.

The head of the Mariupol National Corps, Anton Trebukhov, in turn, said that the organization was not involved in the attack.

“As for me, the usual subcultural thing happened there - the right beats the left, but we are not involved in this,” he said.

Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Ivanna Klympush-Tsintadze, obviously, could not remain silent after the pogrom in the “hotbed of European culture” of Mariupol.

“Unfortunately, I have repeatedly heard similar stories about attacks on “informal” teenagers in the very center of my native Kyiv. Teenagers who wear some kind of rattle chains, or attach badges of various groups to their backpacks, or dye their hair brightly - teenagers who, in essence, learn to express themselves, who in this way search for themselves, both in seemingly provocative clothing, and very peacefully and those who are friendly towards the world... The scum who consider it possible, with the stripes of nationalist groups, to set their own rules and mock children, must be punished. I hope this story will definitely lead to this punishment. So that others would be discouraged,” the Deputy Prime Minister wrote.
