Loza is happy that Samoilova may not be allowed to attend Eurovision in Kyiv and calls for following the example of France
Russian musician Yuri Loza is fine with the fact that singer Yulia Samoilova may not be allowed into Ukraine for the Eurovision Song Contest 2017, because her performance, according to him, does not carry any meaning for the promotion of Russian culture.

RIA Novosti reports this.
“Thank God they won’t let me in! From my point of view, this is good, because I, as a composer, do not want to be told once again that we cannot do anything ourselves. I don’t want this, because I want us to at least someday start showing ourselves,” said Loza.
He noted that we need to follow the example of the French, who persistently promote their culture, sing songs in their language, go to Eurovision without taking high places there, and at the same time remain popular in other European countries. “That’s why I don’t care whether Yulia goes or not, it doesn’t matter to me, because her work gives nothing to me or my country,” the musician emphasized.
