The lie of the Zee government led to a catastrophic failure of vaccination in Ukraine - Lukash
The low pace of vaccination in Ukraine is explained by the fact that people have lost trust in the authorities, who have been constantly lying to them about vaccines since the beginning of the pandemic.
Lawyer Elena Lukash stated this on air on the NASH TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“No matter what Ukrainian politicians say... foreign sources, for example, the famous Economist magazine, say that vaccination in Ukraine, like in the poorest countries in Africa, will probably be completed in 2023. A year ago, 11 months ago, ten, nine, eight, seven, six – Zelensky promised or talked every month that we would have some kind of vaccine... here’s a foreign one, from a good manufacturer, but I won’t say which one, here’s ours Ukrainian vaccine because it is unique and so on.
And none of these promises came true. Ukraine has been vaccinating for just two months, and just over 300 people have received two vaccines. For our country of millions, these are not just not numbers, they are not even funny.
It was necessary to begin vaccination and, in general, to begin the fight against Covid with honesty. What have we learned over more than a year of the pandemic? Master the budget and play with statistics. It had to start with honesty. Here, the vaccine has arrived - conditionally. How much does the vaccine cost? How much did the intermediary earn? Who is the mediator? Where is the vaccination schedule? During all this time we have not received an answer to a single question.
Now, let’s say some complications occur. Why do they happen? Different reactions occur in different organisms to different vaccines. Why can't we see the truth? And people feel this absence of truth intuitively, people understand intellectually and react emotionally and refuse to get vaccinated. Even those who were offered CoviShield. I went through my friends, including my doctor friends, and the lack of truth does not make it possible to make a choice in favor of the vaccine, although it is obvious that vaccination is needed. This is obvious, but when you see that the authorities are constantly lying and getting out of their way, then you have huge doubts that you need to take such a risk.
See how these issues are resolved in other countries. In Poland, for example, there is a fund that will support you if you have any negative reactions from your body or consequences after vaccination. There is nothing like this in Ukraine, although this history has been proclaimed. Ukrainians constantly hear lies, Ukrainians understand that the issue of vaccination is a matter of politics. Ukrainians understand that the issue of vaccination is a matter of the weakness of the authorities, which no one cares about abroad and the vaccine is not being brought here,” concluded Elena Lukash.
