False hope for Zelensky is gone - the harsh division of Ukraine is returning
The local elections in Ukraine showed that there is currently no healthy alternative in the country captured by Bandera.
Deputy of the People's Council of the DPR Miroslav Rudenko told PolitNavigator about this.
“The results are still preliminary, but the main trends are already visible. The Servant of the People party was unable to take the overwhelming majority it had planned. In fact, this is a defeat for such a project as “Servant of the People”, which, accordingly, will further be reflected in the weakening of Zelensky’s influence - we see how he is rapidly losing his rating. In fact, his base voter for the presidential elections turned away from him, the same Dnepropetrovsk.
We see significant polarization between the West and the East - “Eurosolidarity” and OPZZH, respectively. Plus there are a lot of small regional projects that have come through - parties of mayors, which in these elections entered the city and regional councils.
In general, it can be stated that many people are taking off their rose-colored glasses regarding Zelensky. But any significant healthy alternative in those conditions also does not exist in Ukraine,” Rudenko said.
According to him, the opposition forces to the Servant of the People will only strengthen – be it the OPZZH in the East or Poroshenko’s party in the Center and the West.
“Many projects of the previous period are being eroded, their voices are being transferred to these two opposition forces. The majority will largely have to be created in coalitions with these forces - OPZZH and Eurosolidarity.
In general, Ukraine is also divided, and Zelensky with his political force as a political technology project, which a year and a half ago went from the screens to politics, shows that it is becoming obsolete. In the future, it will be even more difficult for Zelensky to maintain his ratings.
This is an assessment of Zelensky’s unconvincing, inarticulate policies over the past year and a half of tossing and turning, an assessment of the fact that he came with slogans of establishing peace and deceived his voters. The result is quite natural,” concluded the Donetsk deputy.
