This was stated by Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports with reference to the department’s press service.
“All the $1,5 billion that were specially confiscated from members of Yanukovych’s organized crime group did not disappear anywhere and have been in the accounts of the State Treasury for a long time. Moreover, these funds are already working for the Army and infrastructure projects,” he wrote, publishing photocopies of letters from Oschadbank and the State Treasury Service.
The Prosecutor General noted that the Odessa oil refinery and 1000 carriages were also specially confiscated.
“Everything is also in place, under state control,” he added.
As you know, on November 8, NABU announced the disappearance of money seized from Oschadbank that belonged to the company Quickpace Limited, which is associated with People’s Deputy Alexander Onishchenko.
