In particular, Lyashko stated that “Onishchenko’s schemes became possible and operate with the assistance of the current criminal government.”
In response, Lutsenko noted that Onishchenko’s schemes have been in effect since the beginning of 2013, while “the revolution began in 2014.” “Perhaps you didn’t notice because of your fence in Koncha-Zaspa,” Lutsenko told Lyashko.
Let us remind you that today the Rada agreed to prosecute, detain and arrest Onishchenko. Onishchenko himself refused to attend today’s parliamentary meeting, saying that he was “set up and abandoned.” According to information provided to the GPU from the border service, Onishchenko left Ukraine on July 2, heading to Minsk.
The proposal for the arrest and lifting of immunity from Onishchenko, signed by Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko, was submitted to parliament on June 16.
Onishchenko appears in the case of abuses in the sale of gas produced with the participation of Ukrgazvidobuvannya. According to the investigation, the state suffered damage amounting to about UAH 3 billion. In Lvov, Dnipro and Kyiv, law enforcement officers conducted more than 35 searches in this case. In total, 20 people were identified who, according to investigators, were part of a criminal organization, 10 of them were arrested, another was detained, the total amount of bail determined by the court exceeds UAH 1 billion.
