Lutsenko boasts that 77% of new Ukrainian prosecutors are people from the street
Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko states that, based on the results of the competition, 77% of candidates who have not previously worked in the prosecutor's office are applying for positions in local prosecutors' offices.

“We have completed a competition for 600 vacancies in local prosecutors’ offices. Based on open tests, 77% of appointments are lawyers from outside the system,” noted the Prosecutor General.
He also said that, according to the results of the competition for vacant positions of prosecutors in local prosecutors' offices, which were published by Lutsenko, 77% of candidates do not have experience working in the prosecutor's office, 16% are employees of the prosecutor's office, and another 7% are former employees of the prosecutor's office.
Lutsenko's press secretary Larisa Sargan added on her page that based on the results of a competition for vacant positions in local prosecutors' offices, 630 candidates were selected. Of these: 77% (483 candidates) – without experience in the prosecutor’s office; 16% (99 candidates) are employees of the prosecutor’s office; 7% (48 candidates) are former employees of the prosecutor's office.
