Lutsenko wrote a letter of resignation, waiting for Poroshenko to receive immunity
Yuriy Lutsenko, godfather of ex-President Petro Poroshenko, wrote a letter of resignation, said his press secretary Larisa Sargan.
Lutsenko held on to the position of Prosecutor General until the last - observers associated this with an attempt to delay and block the initiation of criminal cases against Poroshenko and his entourage.
Poroshenko, who was elected to the Verkhovna Rada as the leader of the European Strategy party, today received a parliamentary certificate and immunity.
True, Vladimir Zelensky’s team promises to abolish parliamentary immunity in the near future, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We are waiting for tough and quick actions to move Poroshenko, Parubiy, Pashinsky and the rest of the criminal scum to prison. Let’s not delay this, good deeds cannot be put off until later,” urges lawyer Andrei Portnov, who initiated an investigation into criminal offenses by representatives of the previous government.
Lutsenko himself is now giving a live interview to propagandist Dmitry Gordon, in which he emphasizes that he is proud of the results of his work.
