“In Georgia, Poland, the Baltics, the Czech Republic, and France, reforms proceeded most quickly when the president, prime minister and speaker were from the same party,” Lutsenko said on ICTV.
“We did not stand on Maidan to usurp power,” protested Tatyana Chernovol, who was present in the studio and is running for a rival party.
“The Yatsenyuk government is formed from 5 parties. Each has 5 party interests, 5 party intrigues, 5 party deceptions, 5 party blackmails. This is unacceptable,” he explained.
“Ukrainians pass the test for national discipline. Either we give a majority to parties that are going to work for the specific national interest of joining the EU in 5 years, or we will start again, what happened in 2005. I am an ally and friend of Yulia Vladimirovna. I know that Yushchenko was to blame for all those collapses. But, nevertheless, repeating the confrontation between the bright president and the prime minister is unacceptable. We are choosing a program, the opportunity to join the EU in 5 years, or to talk again for 5 years, and as a result, those who talked for so long will go to prison again,” Lutsenko said.
