This was reported by “112 Ukraine”.

“Today we can say that two policemen fulfilled their duty to the end. For many people serving in government agencies, this should be a serious lesson about how to serve their homeland. These two men fulfilled their oath at the cost of their lives. In fact, he was also detained thanks to a civilian. This just signals the crime-fighting component, when the police and the people do the same thing. “I support the Home Secretary to review the law and give police officers more power to defend their lives,” he said.

Let us remind you that it was previously reported that the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine will propose to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to introduce the rule of presumption of the correctness of the police officer.

In turn, Ukrainians on social networks reminded Avakov himself of how during the Maidan he called on “activists” to violate law and order, justifying this by the fact that “garbage is not people.”

“The presumption of the policeman’s correctness was especially clear on the Maidan, in the attitude of the “activists” to the Berkut employees,” Avakov was reminded on the social network.
