Lutsenko laments that visa-free travel with the EU has turned out to be a disaster for Ukraine
The visa-free regime with the European Union led to the fact that there were no workers left in Western Ukraine - the working population migrated to EU countries.
The presidential representative in parliament, Irina Lutsenko, stated this on TV channel 112, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the politician, foreign investors are faced with the fact that there is no one to work at their enterprises in Ukraine.
“The situation today is quite strange - in the western regions of Ukraine, where investors have come, in particular Japanese investors, and from Germany and other countries of the European community. There is a problem with recruiting people for work. That is, Western Ukraine, due to the fact that we already have a visa-free regime, went to work as labor migrants in the European Union,” Lutsenko said.
