Lutsenko called on the people's deputy, the protector of the “amber mafia” from the Poroshenko Bloc, to voluntarily resign his mandate
At a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Regulations, where the proposal for criminal prosecution was considered, a film was shown, which the investigation considers as evidence in the case against the people's deputy from the BPP Borislav Rosenblat and which confirmed the fact of the people's deputy extorting bribes for assisting the amber mafia.

The video was shown at the request of Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I wanted to focus on action videos that were legally legalized and allowed to be shown. It will last approximately 40 minutes. Why so much? Because, unfortunately, it contains many episodes recorded during a long operational search case, and then production, which, in our opinion, fall under the signs of committing crimes,” Lutsenko explained.
According to the Prosecutor General, people's deputies were asked to change the articles of the draft law on amber mining so that the enterprises that would engage in this would pay the state not 15%, but 5%. According to the investigation, the deputies agreed and decided to receive money for this amendment.
After showing the film, which, according to the investigation, is evidence of extortion of a bribe by the people's deputy from the BPP Borislav Rosenblatt, the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko called on him to resign his mandate voluntarily.
“Borislav Solomonovich, if I were you today, I would write a statement about resigning my parliamentary powers, since I can’t imagine a greater shame for the Zhytomyr region, for the BPP faction, for the Verkhovna Rada, for the entire ruling class,” Lutsenko said.
Let us remind you that on June 19, law enforcement officers detained three assistants to people’s deputies, one security guard and two representatives of the “Deputy Control” association, seizing $200 thousand. NABU and SAP suspect people’s deputies Borislav Rosenblatt (BPP) and Maxim Polyakov (“People’s Front”) of involvement in illegal scheme to lobby the interests of amber diggers. Three deputy assistants, one security guard and two civil activists were arrested.
