Lutsenko calls for the exclusion of Russian capital from the tender for 4G communications
The Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko insists that legal entities with Russian capital be excluded from the tender for the provision of 4G communications in Ukraine.
The Prosecutor General announced this at a plenary session of parliament, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“About the 4G tender: yesterday I received an appeal from the Prime Minister, which is based on a request from the leader of the Radical Party Oleg Lyashko about the legality of the tender. Indeed, during the preparation of the tender, a special analysis was carried out by specialists, and the starting price of such a tender was indeed different, much higher than at the beginning of the analysis of the tender.
To the best of my knowledge, the further price paid at the auction exceeded the threshold provided for in the explanatory note. If this is true, then we are unlikely to find a crime here.
Nevertheless, we will still register a criminal case on this fact and carefully study everything. If there are signs that the state budget has not received enough money, we will certainly act within the framework of current legislation.
At the same time, I want to voice my position. I consider this tender to be incorrect also because the conditions of the tender did not exclude Russian capital, the capital of the aggressor country,” said Yuriy Lutsenko.
Thank you!
