“Speaking about the problems of veterans, one cannot ignore such a problem as the existence of pseudo-veteran organizations that receive tens of millions of hryvnia from the budget, which are controlled from Moscow, which do not have a single World War II veteran and not a single ATO veteran in their composition. A group of people’s deputies, a group of the public, is now fighting to stop this shameful practice, which discredits the very concept of veterans in our state,” the deputy said.
“We appealed to the Minister of Social Policy, personally to Groysman, to the Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers Sayenko, so that they use all appropriate legal measures to stop this practice, which simply shocked the public. We must stop funding Putin’s flash mobs under the guise of pseudo-veteran organizations,” he said during a discussion of bill No. 5713 “On the status of war veterans and guarantees of their social protection.”
