“There is panic in Lugansk. I am not a jingoist, especially since we have come close to what we were waiting for with horror - street battles, but the terrorists are beginning to understand that they are faced with a regular army, reinforced by the national guard. I don’t know what the resignation of Strelkov and Bolotov means - there is hope that this is a maneuver for a peaceful resolution of the conflict. But Russia is constantly changing tactics, so Strelkov may be replaced by a person who will further delay the process of liberating Donbass,” says Lutsenko.
The presidential adviser also told TV viewers a fantastic story.
“The last time I was in Donbass, I drove through an unfamiliar settlement three times. I drove by three times - I looked, and there was a KAMAZ standing there, some guys were sitting in camouflage, cracking seeds. At first I thought that it was our people who went AWOL. Then I look at the map, and it turns out to be terrorists,” said Yuriy Lutsenko.
