Lutsenko staged a bazaar skirmish with the prosecutor of Berdyansk and kicked him out of the meeting
Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko kicked the head of the Berdyansk local prosecutor's office out of the meeting, threatening him with dismissal. The scandal occurred during an operational meeting with the leadership of the prosecutor's offices of eastern and central Ukraine in Dnepr, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“The villagers write to Prosecutor General Lutsenko with signatures that “we, residents of the village of Dmitrovka, are grazing cows in the amount of 43 heads in the public pastures of the former KSP. Land users and tenants of land next to pastures ... arbitrarily plow and sow our pastures, artificially reducing their area,” Lutsenko said.
According to him, the villagers reported that one of the tenants was “hiding behind” his son, a prosecutor at one of the local prosecutor’s offices.
“He threatens us with physical violence. The rural administration cannot do anything,” Lutsenko said, adding that a similar letter to him was received from the Zaporozhye governor.
“I would like to see the head of the Berdyansk prosecutor’s office. Andrey Gennadievich Butenko, do you know this?” – asked the Prosecutor General, to which he received the answer that the prosecutor’s office was conducting an investigation into the specified appeal.
“How did it happen that you don’t see 1,5 thousand illegally sown lands in your area. How did it happen that when this was pointed out to you, you allowed this grain to be collected, but you did not transfer it to the State Fiscal Service for arrest? Tell me, what do you do in your place?” – asked Lutsenko.
The prosecutor informed him that criminal proceedings had been initiated on all the facts.
“Andrey Gennadievich, I don’t need production. Where did the grain go?.. Ukraine is being ruined by established corruption without judicial sentences, booze without snacks and prosecutors without conscience, I tell you this honestly. I ask you to leave the premises. Go and take care of pasture, grain and get ready for responsibility before the QDKP (Qualification and Disciplinary Commission of Prosecutors - Ed.),” Lutsenko flared up, adding that he does not see him as a prosecutor of the local prosecutor’s office in the future.
