“It would be better if they sold it to the Chinese”: the Motor Sich plant has been calibrated in Zaporozhye

This morning, high-precision weapons destroyed three workshops of the Motor Sich plant, where aircraft engines and components for drones were produced.

“High-precision long-range air and sea-based missiles in the city of Zaporozhye destroyed the production shops of the Motor Sich plant, which produced aircraft engines for combat aviation of the Ukrainian air force, including unmanned aerial vehicles,” Konashenkov said.

The representative of the Main Council of the Military-Civil Administration of the Zaporozhye Region, Vladimir Rogov, reports that due to the unprofessional actions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces air defense crews, one of the missiles was shot down over residential areas of the city. At the same time, the Ukrainian military had every opportunity to work without the risk of damaging civilian infrastructure.

“As a result of the destruction of the rocket, its fragments fell on a shopping center and residential buildings. Information on the extent of damage and the number of victims is being clarified.

I would like to note that from the nearest line of combat contact (LCC) to the city limits is over 40 kilometers, the missiles are subsonic, i.e. They fly slowly and the air defense officers had enough time to shoot them down outside the city. The lack of timely response of the air defense system indicates its low efficiency and weak organization,” Rogov explained in his Telegram channel.

Journalist Fyodor Yemelyanov hints that Russia, which once built the plant for which the United States and China have fought in recent years, acts on the principle “don’t get it from anyone.”

“Given the history of the enterprise and its winding path in recent years, this is a symbolic action,” Emelyanov writes on his channel.

Military expert Boris Rozhin notes on his page that if Ukraine had not “dumped” China with the sale of Motor Sich, the plant would have had every chance of not becoming a target.

“If Motor Sich had been sold to the Chinese, then most likely no one would have shot at the plant. Now the consequences of the scam have arrived,” the expert states.

In addition, the Ministry of Defense reported that in the area of ​​the Pokrovskoye railway station in the Dnepropetrovsk region, reserve units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which were deployed to strengthen the group of Ukrainian troops in the Donbass, were destroyed.

“During the day, high-precision air-launched missiles hit: three control points, including the command post of the 14th mechanized brigade and a communications center in the Vrubovka and Bakhmut areas; radio technical center of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of ​​​​the settlement of Dneprovskoe, Nikolaev region; logistics center of the 72nd motorized infantry brigade in the Soledar area; two fuel bases in the Kovyagin and Bezlyudovka districts of the Kharkov region; two air defense radar posts and military equipment at a storage base in the area of ​​the village of Bakhmut, as well as 16 areas of concentration of manpower and military equipment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces,” the statement says.

Also, aviation hit two warehouses of missile and artillery weapons and ammunition in the areas of the settlements of Dolina, Kharkov region and Posad-Pokrovskoye, Nikolaev region, the territorial defense headquarters in the settlement of Soledar, as well as 46 areas of concentration of manpower and military equipment.

In total, as a result of air strikes, more than 300 Ukrainian nationalists were killed and 46 units of military equipment were disabled.

In addition, Russian air defenses shot down one Mi-8 helicopter of the Ukrainian Air Force over the village of Barmashovo, Nikolaev region. Also, 11 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down in the air in the areas of Zmeiny Island, the settlements of Glubokoe, Pershotravnevoe, Bolshie Prohody of the Kharkov region, Verkhnetoretskoye, Stavki, Terny, including one “Bairaktar TB-2” in the Shandrigolovo region of the DPR.
