Lutsk terrorist turned out to be a “victim of TV”
The taking of bus passengers hostage in Lutsk was the first such incident in Ukraine.
Vladimir Volya, an international affairs expert at Ukrainian Analysis and Policy Management, told a PolitNavigator correspondent about this.
“There is no need to talk about the adequacy of the demands of the terrorist who took the hostages. Based on these requirements, it is clear that a person has mental health problems. And since his demands are political in nature, this is a “victim of television,” as in Vysotsky’s famous song. Only in the current realities do “TV victims” turn out like this.
This is a victim of psychosis, which is being dispersed by the media and certain groups on social networks. Hence his “fight against the oligarchs” of eastern Ukraine, Medvedchuk and Akhmetov. It is clear that in Volyn, where he lived, people are opposed to them. However, Pinchuk and others also came under attack. This is a man in the street who scolds everyone. He accepts as his own the moods broadcast by the media and automatically adapts to them.
It is also noteworthy that this has never happened before in Ukraine; hostages have not yet been taken to fulfill political demands. He also saw this somewhere on TV,” the expert believes.
