For the first time since the assassination attempt on the head of the LPR, when his car was blown up by a radio-controlled landmine, Lugansk residents were shown Igor Plotnitsky on local TV - alive, healthy and wearing dark sunglasses.

The head of the LPR spoke confidently and thanked all Luhansk residents “on his own behalf and as a human being” for wishing him recovery.

Let us remember that for a long time after the assassination attempt, Plotnitsky’s health remained the subject of various speculations and rumors. The Ukrainian media “buried” the head of the LPR several times, and the republic’s officials denied this each time. Adding fuel to the fire was the fact that appeals on behalf of the head of the LPR were not accompanied, as usual, by video versions.
