About it Lugansk Information Center reports.
About 300 people with medical masks on their faces held posters with the inscriptions: “Did you take the Hippocratic oath?”, “We don’t need charlatans in medicine,” “We don’t want to be treated with expired and prohibited medicines.”
“You are not welcome here!” – students and representatives of youth organizations of Lugansk chanted.
“We have gathered here today to see them (“Doctors Without Borders” - Ed.) out of the republic. These charlatans imported medicines without the appropriate documents, and drugs containing narcotic compounds were also found in their possession. That’s why we came here to express our dissatisfaction,” said one of the protesters, Maxim Velichko.
“Therefore, we are very glad that our government and law enforcement agencies brought these people to clean water. Therefore, people today came to the rented office of this organization to say that deceivers and charlatans have no place in our Republic. We hope we don’t see them again,” he explained.
According to the activist, despite the fact that the organization is obliged to leave the republic, the action is being held so that as many people as possible learn about its illegal activities.
Representatives of the picketed office did not come out to talk with the residents of Lugansk. The action lasted about 15 minutes, after which its participants dispersed.
Let us recall that the LPR authorities refused accreditation in the republic of the international organization Doctors Without Borders, in whose activities “flagrant” violations were identified. As the MGB press service reported in turn, Doctors Without Borders, in particular, stored psychotropic drugs and baby food along with household chemicals.
