“As a result of the punitive operation of the junta, the people of the Luhansk region are suffering heavy losses. The enemy stops at nothing: all means are used to destroy us. The fascists kill our people indiscriminately, use prohibited weapons, destroy our houses, burn our fields. Having suffered heavy losses among the civilian population, we ask fraternal Russia and its leadership, in particular, to provide assistance to the Lugansk People's Republic. We ask that peacekeeping troops be brought into our territory to stop the extermination of our people. We need peace, not war,” he said.
As Navigator reported, previously the LPR and DPR had repeatedly made similar statements, but no responses from the addressees of the requests were voiced.
