Lugansk militia asks Putin to send help (VIDEO)
Donetsk - Kyiv, May 26 (Navigator, Vladimir Raichenko) - Lugansk militias opposing the Kyiv authorities do not mind if Russian special forces or Chechens join them, but they claim that at present they are making do solely on their own. Nikolai Pachkovsky, commander of the Popasnyansky battalion, whose fighters last week fought with Ukrainian units near the city of Rubezhnoye, told a Navigator correspondent about this.

According to him, they are not against peace, but it is difficult to negotiate with the current Kyiv authorities in this situation. “How can we negotiate with those who simply kill us and don’t want to hear us,” the militiaman emphasized. “We wanted peace, not war, but they came to us to bring us to our knees.”
Contrary to repeated statements by the leaders of Ukrainian security forces, the LPR militia denies that GRU special forces and Chechen fighters are fighting on their side.
“As a direct participant in the hostilities, I must say that I have never seen either Russian special forces or Chechens,” noted a representative of the LPR’s military wing. – Of course, we would like such specialists to help us. After all, we are just collective farmers, hard workers who took up arms to establish peace on our land and so that it is not trampled by bandits who shout “Hitler is good, but Putin is bad.” To be honest, I like Putin’s policies. “I would be very grateful to him if he would help us and send in peacekeeping troops.”
It was also said that near Rubizhne, Ukrainian paratroopers refused to shoot at people who, after feeding the soldiers, put them on a bus and sent them in the opposite direction. “But they didn’t get there—they were shot by their own people because they refused to shoot,” says the commander of the militia battalion.
The militia says that LPR units are poorly armed, and people sometimes come with hunting rifles and even pitchforks and axes. “But we are on our own land and are ready to die here, but they will die like dogs,” summarized Nikolai Pachkovsky.
