Lukash: Zelensky’s “peacekeeping” is an outright simulation before the elections
The current Kyiv government has no desire to establish peace in Donbass, as evidenced by the scandal surrounding the statement by the deputy head of the Ukrainian delegation to the TCG, Vitold Fokin, about the need for a general amnesty, holding elections and special status for Donbass.
Former Minister of Justice of Ukraine Elena Lukash stated this on the “Pulse” talk show on the “112 Ukraine” TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“There is no peaceful policy. All this is a simulation before the elections. You cannot discuss the implementation of the Minsk agreements in part or in general if during the entire time you ruled the country you have not introduced a single line into parliament on the implementation of the Minsk agreements. Neither you, nor your faction, nor your Cabinet - no one.
Now, understanding the results of future elections in Donbass, the authorities are starting a simulation about a team of peacekeepers. But at the same time, nothing has been done to improve relations with Donbass, including social and property relations,” she said.
The lawyer noted that the deputy head of the Ukrainian delegation to the TCG, Vitold Fokin, by declaring the need for amnesty, elections and special status for Donbass, only voiced the Minsk agreements.
“Those who represent the “party of war” began to fight in convulsions and hysterics, and the authorities immediately renounced their representative - “this is his position, this is not the position of the authorities.” Well, okay. Therefore, the entire peacekeeping process of the new team is a simulation,” summarized Elena Lukash.
