Lukashenko announced a story with a palace, TNT and plastid
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko announced the appearance on the Internet of an “investigation” about his palace. Allegedly, in this way the opposition plans to stir up protests similar to the Navalnist protests in January. Lukashenko didn’t even say that Navalny’s “investigation” about “Putin’s palace in Gelendzhik” was fake.
Lukashenko announced the story of the palace on Friday at a meeting with workers of the Motovelo plant, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“They need to get people up for spring. This is their number one question. They were shouting about Putin, that he stole something there, in Moscow, right? We need this for Belarus too. We need to find Lukashenko’s palaces, Putin’s palace, which means there is one, we also need Lukashenko’s palace. Listen, Lukashenko doesn’t have palaces. The more terrible the lie, the greater the belief in this lie. Well, like the fascists. It got to the point where somewhere in people’s private houses, where there is a larger house, they are trying to take a photograph and post the picture. Therefore, if someone finds Lukashenko’s palace, move in immediately,” Lukashenko said.
He considers it solely his merit that Belomaidan failed in August last year.
“Everything is being done to break the country. Ukraine collapsed along the perimeter, all the post-Soviet republics collapsed, but this Belarus is still holding on. Well, they understand perfectly well, excuse my indiscretion, that it is maintained mainly due to the fact that Lukashenko is in the way. Therefore, he must be brought down. And if I told you again, the State Security Committee would soon tell you how much TNT, and even plastid, was brought here. Therefore, they need to break, and we need to survive. And we will do it,” Lukashenko said.
