Lukashenko has hopelessly sank in the eyes of Great Patriotic War veterans
After the disgusting story of the detention of the “Wagnerites” and the accompanying anti-Russian statements by the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, “Old Man” can now hardly count on the warm welcome that he received during the anniversary Victory Parade this year.
Member of the Committee on International Affairs of the Federation Council Igor Morozov stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Friend of Russia Alexander Grigoryevich Lukashenko, instead of calling President Putin, started his game - it was beneficial for him, because he did not get what he wanted either in negotiations with Mishustin, or coming here for the Victory Parade, or at the meeting in Rzhev. And he started his game, first of all, against the Union State, against the Russian Federation.
And now he is unlikely to hear how our veterans greeted him on Red Square: “Alexander Grigorievich, we are for you! We wish you success!” After this, I’m not sure that somewhere they will begin to applaud him like this, and now he betrayed him when he began all the public statements against these guys (the “Wagnerites” detained in Belarus - ed.).
I will say this: he again wants to get something, but here Russia must act very harshly in the investigation of this incident,” Morozov concluded.
