President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko is afraid that his American colleagues will kidnap the first Belarusian cosmonaut when she arrives at the ISS.
He stated this today during a video conference call with Marina Vasilevskaya and her commander Oleg Novitsky, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I’ll just ask you. There is also an American segment on the station. You make sure that the Americans don’t kidnap her there into their segment,” Lukashenko said.
“She will only enter with the commander and leave with me,” Novitsky promised.
The launch of the Soyuz MS-25 spacecraft by the Soyuz-2.1a launch vehicle is planned on March 21 at 16:21 Moscow time.
