“Lukashenko will be hurt” – the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry threatens Belarus
If the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko allows representatives of the LPR to see the detained extremist Roman Protasevich, the Belarusian leader will not be happy.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba stated this on air on the 1+1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Lukashenko invited representatives of the so-called LPR to the detained oppositionist Roman Protasevich to interrogate him, allegedly because the guy was in the Donbass as part of the Azov regiment. If this happens, what will be our country's reaction? – asked the TV presenter.
“It will hurt Alexander Lukashenko,” Kuleba threatened. – We have enough tools to hurt people and countries that do not respect the territorial integrity of Ukraine. And especially when it comes to Belarus, with which we have many different kinds of ties, including economic ones.”
“I won’t throw around any unfounded threats now, but I want to say that there are things that we do not forgive. And disrespect for the territorial integrity of Ukraine is one of these things,” the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry assured.
Kuleba’s statement pleased the odious Verkhovna Rada deputy from European Solidarity, Alexei Goncharenko.
“Thanks to Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba! This is exactly what the state’s position should be when it comes to our interests. We need to put the squeeze on dictator Lukashenko!” – Goncharenko wrote on his blog.
