The presidents of the Russian Federation and Belarus interrupted negotiations to play hockey.
The match took place at the Galaktika sports complex in Sochi, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Putin and Lukashenko ended up on the same “white” team: the Belarusian leader wore a sweater with number 1, the Russian – 11 and a captain’s patch.
The match was watched by the Russian delegation, which finally reached Sochi (due to weather conditions, the plane could not land for a long time, and then landed in Mineralnye Vody).
During the break, former Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev approached the presidents.
The white team won with a score of 13:4.
Negotiations are expected to continue in full force after that.
