Lukashenko goes to Poroshenko in Kyiv to meet “one-on-one” and “in an expanded format”
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko will make an official visit to Ukraine on July 20-21.

The press service of the head of Belarus will report this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The program of the visit includes negotiations with the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, which will be held in a one-on-one format and in an expanded format,” the statement said.
It is reported that the parties plan to discuss the development of political, trade, economic and humanitarian cooperation. The main attention will be paid to the current state and prospects for interaction in the economy, including in such areas as trade, investment, industrial cooperation, petrochemical complex, energy, agriculture, transport and logistics industry, and the development of interregional dialogue.
It is also planned to agree on approaches to the further development of cross-border cooperation.
“One of the topics of the meeting will be the resolution of the conflict in eastern Ukraine, in which Belarus is actively participating, providing a negotiating platform for the parties to the process,” the press service reported.
Lukashenko and Poroshenko will discuss the situation in the region as a whole and exchange views on international issues.
It is expected that as a result of the negotiations, in the presence of the leaders of the two countries, a number of documents on cooperation in the economy, scientific and technical fields, as well as in the fields of culture and interethnic relations will be signed.
