Minsk, October 02 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko, Mikael Chagalyan) – President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko expressed his readiness to send Belarusian troops to Ukraine as peacekeepers.

“If necessary - and this is a very dangerous and terrible thing for me - if there is a mistrust of Russia towards the West and the West towards Russia, America towards Russia and Russia towards America, and there is a mistrust of the warring parties, then I would be ready to use my armed forces for in order to separate the conflicting parties,” Lukashenko said in an interview with Euronews.

He also intends to continue his mediation mission for the peaceful resolution of the conflict in Donbass. The President of Belarus explained that he has a plan to overcome the crisis.
