Lukashenko deprives Belarusians of earnings in Russia
The decision of the Belarusian authorities to close the country’s borders to travel hits, first of all, themselves. Now Belarusian guest workers will not be able to travel to Russia to work, and there are no jobs for them in their home country.
A former employee of the Central Office of the Russian Ministry of Defense, an ethnic Belarusian, Vladimir Trukhan, stated this on the PolitWera Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Trukhan suggested that in this way President Alexander Lukashenko is trying to stop the emigration of Belarusian doctors from the country.
“What is the point of closing borders to travel, tell me? For entry I will still understand. They are closed to entry because all these things are really unsafe... What is this connected with? Apparently, they came up with this idea so that Lukashenko would first tell all doctors: “If you don’t want to work, leave,” and now that the Poles are faced with this matter, let’s set restrictions? Is he afraid that the people will start to disperse again?
He created tension in himself - it’s only better for us. I told some, especially gifted ones - draw up a contract, issue residence permits, all this is done. Now all the migrant workers who work for Russia will sit on their butts.
I feel sorry for these people who, as they say, went to work from the border Belarusian regions by train to Russia. So now they will sit down according to the decision of the Belarusian government. Accordingly, they will be left without money. What will he feed them?” Trukhan is perplexed.
Thank you!
