Lukashenko called China the guarantee of Belarus' independence
Belarus stands for China to become one of the poles of a multipolar world. Alexander Lukashenko stated this while speaking to students at Peking University.

“Only a multipolar world can save our planet from destruction. No system can stand on one support for long. And yesterday I told my friend Xi Jinping (Chairman of the People's Republic of China, - ed.) said that one of the pillars of this multipolarity and stability of the world is China,” Lukashenko said.
According to him, Belarus is extremely interested in strengthening China.
“This is our pragmatism; There will be a powerful modern China - there will be a modern independent Belarus. Therefore, our friend, on whose shoulder we can always lean,” Lukashenko said.
