“The external reasons were clearly visible in our country, not so much in Kazakhstan, but I am sure that as a result of the investigation we will arrive at the same point. We must understand that only the external factor will never be the only one. Behind all the external factors, we must also see the internal ones. This is the lesson we learned from the events in Belarus,” Lukashenko said.

He called on his colleagues to monitor the situation and act proactively. As an example, Old Man cited a formal reason for protests in Kazakhstan - an increase in prices for natural gas, which, according to Lukashenko, “has nowhere to go in this Kazakhstan.”

The Belarusian leader believes that negative trends in the post-Soviet republics cannot be resolved within the framework of one country. He named Uzbekistan as the next “hot spot”.

“As we see it (I am absolutely convinced of this), the closest peoples of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan should try together to solve the difficult problems that have been inherited and that we have already created in the post-Soviet period.

The lessons that have been talked about a lot should be learned, sorry for this, first of all by Uzbekistan. If these lessons are not learned, according to our information, their eyes will be cast, including on Uzbekistan.

It's worth talking about Tajikistan. The President of Tajikistan has been asking us for years to provide material support, primarily military equipment. We need to do this so that later it won’t cost us more, like with Kazakhstan,” Lukashenko said.

He called on his colleagues not to look back to the West when using the peacekeeping potential of the CSTO.

“There is no need to be too shy in this regard, looking around at some West and America. If we look sharply around, we'll break our necks. You need to deal with your own issues and see your own safety. When they have the slightest problem, they do not think about democracy and do not look at us, but act in accordance with their own interests. We also need to take this into account. They acted harshly - the result is visible,” Lukashenko said.
