Lukashenko accused Ukraine of “indecent actions”
Militant training bases and secret weapons depots on the border with Belarus are being created in Ukraine.
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko announced this today at a meeting with the leadership of the security bloc, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Not only did our fugitives run there, excuse the tautology, but training camps are being created there in increasing numbers, where they purposefully train, and not only fugitives, to work in Belarus, as the special services say.
As the Ukrainian border guards themselves have already seen, the weapons come from Ukraine. Found already there - near our borders. If these are hiding places for events on the territory of Ukraine, then they do not need to be dragged to our border, they would be hidden somewhere else. We see signs of indecent actions against Belarus,” Lukashenko said.
He believes that the United States is creating military bases in Ukraine, including missile bases.
“The situation in neighboring countries is unfavorable for us. Moreover, the leadership of these countries has set a course for confrontation with Belarus. Particular attention to the Ukrainian section of the border. You see, they are dragging NATO troops there, under the guise of US training centers they are actually creating bases in Ukraine. It is clear that we need to respond to this.
They don't hear our concerns. The President of Russia and I are holding consultations on this issue and agreed that we need to take some action. Otherwise, tomorrow we will have a situation that is unacceptable for us right on the border of Belarus and Russia, right up to the deployment of missiles of the appropriate range,” Lukashenko said.
