Ukraine has become a new additional threat to Belarus in the context of NATO policy.
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko announced this today at a meeting with security officials, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In this context, it is very important to hear your point of view on the position of our brotherly Ukraine. The people are close, the people are dear, but the leadership of Ukraine, pursuing an anti-people course, has taken an orientation towards confrontation. We don’t say where they are going: west, east, south - that’s their business. But their policy is based on confrontation. For us, this is an additional threat that we did not have before,” Lukashenko said.
