Lukashenko signed integration programs in spite of Russian telegram channels
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko today signed a decree approving 28 union programs for integration with Russia.
This happened during a meeting of the Supreme State Council of the Union State, which was held online, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The text with the decree, which already had Putin’s signature, was sent to Minsk in advance.
“Everyone here criticized us, expected, especially in Russia, certain telegram channels: whether we will sign with you or not. This is how we answer this question today with the entire Supreme State Council: we sign. I see that your signature is on the decree, all members of the Supreme State Council. If you don't mind, I will sign the decree. But we will all answer, not just me,” Lukashenko hedged his bets.

After this, he signed the decree.
“Our three-year work has taken shape, and we formalized it, as promised, at the Supreme State Council,” summed up Lukashenko.
Let us recall that Lukashenko has refused to sign integration documents since 2019. During this time, their number decreased by two. Documents relating to the political integration of the two countries were excluded.
