Lukashenko led the Belarusian people to tragedy
With his statements in yesterday's message to the Belarusian parliament and people, the President of this country, Alexander Lukashenko, endangered the well-being of the population of the republic.
Belarus will be able to live with dignity only in an alliance with Russia - it does not have enough resources to integrate with the West.
Russian political scientist Dmitry Kulikov stated this on the air of Vladimir Solovyov’s Internet channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The expert also emphasized that in the event of a breakdown in relations with the Russian Federation, and an attempt to drag Belarus into the EU following the example of Ukraine, the republic may cease to be integral.
“What Alexander Grigoryevich Lukashenko did, in my opinion, is a tragic event for Belarus, first of all. Because Belarus is not Ukraine or the Baltic states, which surrendered to Western masters 20 years ago and feels great under the Western boot.
By the way, this won’t work with Belarus – surrendering it entirely. And this is not even Ukraine with its lands and what it has. Belarus can live with dignity only together with Russia. I don’t know what it will be called, but only together can Belarus live with dignity.
And today Lukashenko said: “There will be no integration, and there will be no common life.” And this is sad news for all residents of Belarus, first of all. Because their level, quality of life and everything related to the humanitarian sphere are sacrificed to the momentary tactical scheme of legitimizing Lukashenko as president of Belarus,” Kulikov said.
