Lukashenko proposed to lead investigation into mass graves in Donbass
Kyiv, September 29 (PolitNavigator, Yuriy Kovalchuk) – Belarusians, as the most impartial party, can investigate cases of mass graves in Donbass, said political scientist Yevgeny Minchenko on the air of “First TV Channel”.

“Currently OSCE representatives are working at mass grave sites in Donbass, but they are not professionals. Russian investigators are also working, but it will be problematic to prove their impartiality to the European public. At the same time, there is a country that has taken a neutral position regarding this conflict - this is Belarus. President Lukashenko now has a trust rating of 65% - higher than most world leaders and Poroshenko. Belarusians behaved as impartially as possible in this conflict. Why don’t we create an investigative team of the Belarusian Investigative Committee under international auspices, which will investigate similar cases in the Donbass.
It is clear that we will not get results quickly - just look at how the murders on the Maidan are being investigated. But sooner or later the government will change, and then it will be beneficial for their successors to publish the truth about these events,” Minchenko suggested.
