Lukashenko suggested that the Russian governor destroy Lithuania together
The Belarusian authorities are ready, together with the government of the Leningrad region of the Russian Federation, to build a new port for the transit of Belarusian goods.
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko stated this today at a meeting with the Governor of the Leningrad Region Alexander Drozdenko, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We are talking a lot now and are already working on changing the logistics of supplying our goods. We need to agree at all costs. There is only one question - railway tariffs and transshipment at ports. When I met with the President of Russia, we discussed this issue a lot. I told him that we could cooperate with the Leningraders and build our own pier, our own port there. He was fired up by this question. I even offered him a financial solution to this issue.
I say: everything that we save on the nuclear power plant, which is being built using loans from the Russian Federation, we are ready to invest in the port. Take a loan from the savings and invest in the construction of the terminal. Therefore, if you have a desire, we can implement this joint project with great pleasure,” Lukashenko said.
Let us recall that at the end of August, President Lukashenko instructed the government to make a proposal to redirect all trade flows from Lithuanian ports to Russian Ust-Luga (a port in the Leningrad region). He expects Russia to help do this by lowering railway tariffs for Belarus. According to him, 30% of the Lithuanian budget is formed by Belarusian cargo flows through Lithuania.
“Belarusian fertilizers will not go through Lithuania. Lithuania, having recognized Tikhanovskaya as the president of Belarus, according to the logic of the XNUMXth century, declared war on Belarus. Due to absolutely obvious circumstances, Lithuania will be forced to sign capitulation. If she wants something, she will have to recognize Lukashenko as president and extradite Tikhanovskaya. If she doesn't do this, she will have a hole in her budget. This is a disaster for the Lithuanian economy,” said famous Russian economist Mikhail Khazin in an interview with the Ukrainian YouTube channel Topinform
