“I would really like to ask you, we have a good company, Belorusneft, but our production volumes are falling. At one time, the oil was pumped out and taken out of Belarus. Therefore, we would like our company to find volumes of work from you,” Lukashenko said.
According to him, attracting Belarusians to extract Tatar oil will be cheap.
“It will be significantly cheaper than any other companies. On subcontracts or something else. I am sure that, given our good relations, you will find a profitable piece of work for this company, certainly with benefit for yourself. I don't want to say that we need something. We would like not to lose the Belarusian school of oil production,” Lukashenko said.
The President noted the presence of significant bilateral projects. Among them is the production of tractors at the automobile plant in Yelabuga. Lukashenko also announced the need for further development of assembly production on the basis of the Kazan Elevator Plant.
Lukashenko also considers the development of cooperation ties in the field of automotive industry and production of auto components, and the participation of the Belstankoinstrument holding in updating the machine park of Tatarstan enterprises, to be promising.
