Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko stated this during a conference with the media.
“The world is completely different. This is not a world where it was possible to tilt. Today I don’t want to take this oil. Maybe it will be more expensive.<…> We are now considering several options,” Lukashenko noted.
According to him, Belarus can use the opportunity to supply oil through Ukraine.
“It’s just that another oil will come to the Russian market. Does Russia need this? After all, we process 25 million tons, and 60-80 million tons of Russian oil go through us to the West. Is it possible to work out some kind of balance of interests and come to an agreement?” - said the Belarusian leader.
