Lukashenko is trying to portray Putin as a “lame duck”
Russian President Vladimir Putin will not take advantage of the opportunity to reset the presidential terms that the new Russian constitution provides him with.
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko stated this in an interview with Ukrainian propagandist Dmitry Gordon, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
At the same time, the Belarusian leader tried to hint at a certain “situation” that “will not get better.”
“No, you made it up. Putin will never be president until 36, I 100% guarantee you. It all depends on the situation, on the environment. And you see what she is like, and it won’t be any better.
Naturally, everyone will blame Lukashenko, Putin, Gordon, if he is the leader. We are the first, we are the heads of state, so they will go down. Putin will not hold onto power, as I say, with blue hands.
He will find an option for people or a person to come to power who will continue the path of development of Russia that exists now,” Lukashenko convinces.
