Lukashenko revealed food sabotage in Belarus
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko is not satisfied with the preparations for the harvesting campaign.
He stated this today at a large republican selector conference, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The main thing for the upcoming harvesting period is quality and pace. Discipline and responsibility must be at the highest level. And with this, as they report to me, not everything is going smoothly. Many managers simply failed to prepare for the cleaning company. Some organizations did not even begin to repair equipment. In fact, every tenth harvester is not ready for work. There are no machine operators, they say. Why not? After all, we agreed last fall. We need to invite former combine operators from the cities. There are a lot of them. Elevators and grain storage warehouses do not operate everywhere. Moreover, this was discovered during an inspection in every fourth farm. Notes on the readiness of equipment and grain drying complexes have been installed at 40 agricultural enterprises. This is not just irresponsibility on the part of local authorities, this is food sabotage. This is exactly how it will be regarded,” Lukashenko said.
