Lukashenko told how Russia can negotiate peace
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko believes that Russia will agree on peace with the Ukrainian military.
He stated this today at a meeting with foreign journalists, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“There is always someone to talk about peace with. No matter how strange it may seem, I am convinced that dialogue needs to be conducted with the Ukrainian military. They have a point of view somewhat different from the position of politicians and President Zelensky. Vladimir Zelensky knows this very well. And the upcoming reshuffles in the military bloc testify to this.
The most professional military men are the most convinced that the war must be stopped. The most talented military men in Ukraine think so. The Russians will have to negotiate with the military. And no politicians, but you see what kind of politicians there are - talking heads. Near Artemovsk-Bakhmut, people are abandoned like cannon fodder. And they are ready to sacrifice millions of Ukrainians. The military understands this and will be able to come to an agreement,” Lukashenko said.
He promised the Ukrainian generals “incredible” results of the negotiations.
“You can agree on the incredible with Russia, but you need to take steps in this direction. And do not set preconditions before sitting down at the negotiating table,” Lukashenko urged.
