Lukashenko told what secret plan he implemented at the expense of Russia
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko admitted today that his main goal was not to build a nuclear power plant, but to master Russian nuclear technologies.
He stated this when accepting the nuclear power plant into operation, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I had a plan when they were building it. I needed to extract competence from Russians. I told Putin: you will build the station for me, but we must build it together and learn to the maximum (with the exception of reactors) everything that is possible. And we need to thank Putin, he’s great, he says: take everything that Belarusians can do, and together we’ll go abroad to build. That was the big goal. They did a great job for us. Now we can build with them not even 50/50, but 75/25,” Lukashenko said.
He is glad that the West has cut off Russia and Belarus from its technology.
“But thank God they turned it off. At the beginning of this shutdown, I told Putin: guys, calm down. We need a little time, and we will master it all ourselves. And these chips, and electronics. We'll master everything. And this is what is happening,” added Lukashenko.
