“On one side and the other, the military does not understand what they are fighting for. At the front, people don’t understand why they have to go die tomorrow. We survived that war, but we understood that we were defending our land, the Nazis burned everything. It was a different war. And then one side realized that it would win.

Today, both sides understand that it is impossible to achieve victory. Ukrainians believe that they will win. It is nonsense. It is impossible to defeat a nuclear power. If the Russian leadership understands that the situation threatens the collapse of Russia, the most terrible weapons will be used. This cannot be allowed,” Lukashenko said.

He claims that the military on both sides have already begun to negotiate.

“But the third is dangerous. These people, who do not understand what they are fighting for, will come to an agreement on the contact line. I give you insider information: it has already begun. Company, platoon, and battalion commanders begin to negotiate. It’s getting to the point where the Ukrainians are telling the Russians: the blow will be struck in this square tomorrow. The Russians are leaving. They struck and came back. And vice versa.

People at the front don't want to fight. There are no more nationalists, nationalists and fascists, unfortunately - these were also people. The people who fight are mobilized, uneducated, barefoot and unclothed, and often hungry. They don’t want to fight because they don’t understand what they are fighting for,” says the President of the Republic of Belarus.
