Lukashenko will circumcise Mishustin's unique system
Alexander Lukashenko, in fact, is not interested in the real unification of the taxation systems of Russia and Belarus, since this would reveal the smuggling schemes of the regime in Minsk.
Deputy Dean of the Faculty of World Economy and International Politics at the National Research University Higher School of Economics Andrey Suzdaltsev spoke about this on the PolitWera YouTube channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Mishustin, as an executive person, seized on the fact that Belarusians showed interest in his tax system. The system he created has no precedent in the world. This is a complete figure and very transparent. A huge part of the Russian economy has come out, and it has become more profitable for it.
For Belarusians, it is interesting for collecting money from small and medium-sized businesses. But if it is introduced in full format, smuggling terminals, a system for diverting money from the export of petroleum products, and all the mechanics of the management of Lukashenko’s oligarchs immediately come to the surface.
Lukashenko likes this system for its accessibility and clarity, but he expects it to be cut short - don’t touch my farm. Will it be possible to do this? I don’t think so,” Suzdaltsev said.
Let us recall that at the end of 2019, Alexander Lukashenko twice refused to sign road maps for the integration of the two states, which included, among other things, the introduction of a common tax system. Now, after the Kremlin helped suppress Belomaidan, Lukashenko promises that the documents will be signed in the fall.
