Lukashenko again reassured Poroshenko - joint exercises with Russia will not end in Kyiv

Poroshenko stated this during today’s transfer of radio communications from the United States to border guards.
“I emphasize that I have no doubts about the extremely good intentions of Belarus, but it is in an allied relationship with Russia, and we have no trust in Moscow at all. And therefore, it was very important for me that I received from the head of the Belarusian state a firm assurance that the planned Russian-Belarusian strategic exercises “Zapad-2017” near the Ukrainian border will not turn into the Russian Federation preparing a springboard for an invasion of Ukraine, Ukrainian soil, from the Belarusian territory,” he said.
Let us recall, as PolitNavigator reported, Alexander Lukashenko said that no one would invade Ukraine from the territory of his country. Unless they come on tractors to help plow the land.
